Dear Friend,

As Congress looks ahead to tax reform, I do not believe we can abandon the discussions on health care. Republicans made a promise to their constituents to repeal the collapsing Affordable Care Act, and the House Freedom Caucus is determined to help the President follow through on that promise. We must replace this federally-run system with free markets in order to actually drive down health care costs. I joined Neil Cavuto to discuss next steps with health care. You can watch by clicking the photo below:

I also look forward to working with the President to make American businesses more competitive in the global economy, while allowing American citizens to keep more of their hard-earned dollars. Reforming our tax code will be crucial to creating the real economic growth that this country desperately needs.

Internet Privacy
I have received many calls from constituents who want to know what changes Congress made to their online privacy rights. In short, Congress did not change any of your internet privacy protections. In fact, Congress only voted to maintain current privacy rules and regulations, and you will not be experiencing any changes due to the vote in Congress. For more information, please click here.

The American Dental Association and students stopped by to discuss the
Competitive Health Insurance Reform Act which I am proud to cosponsor.
This legislation passed in the House last week, and I am hopeful that the
Senate will move to pass this legislation very soon.

I was glad to have AIPAC come by the office to discuss US-Israeli relations.
I am proud to support Israel, one of our only allies in the Middle East.

Chesterfield Fire and EMS stopped by to discuss public safety and Fire Service Grants. Thank you for keeping our community safe!

Some of my constituents came to Washington to advocate on behalf of the
National Down Syndrome Society. I enjoyed our conversation about health
care reforms that will help aid the Down syndrome community.
